Pen & Ink informal drawings are my most popular custom work. The 5" x 7" black and white original is suitable for framing, but my customers often incorporate these into note cards, stationary or brochures. My style falls somewhere in the middle of the Realism - Impressionism spectrum. I look for the the 'personality' of the scene, whether it is a person or a building. Take a careful look at the examples below. They are very representative of my approach. Each starts with a photograph, then the pen and ink drawing, and last a suggestion of how it's used.
